What It Is:
Cymbalta (duloxetine) is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) that boosts serotonin and norepinephrine levels in the brain to improve mood and alleviate chronic pain.
Uses:

Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Fibromyalgia

Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain (e.g., back/knee osteoarthritis)

Off-label use: Stress Urinary Incontinence in adults
Dosing:

Standard adult dose: 60 mg once daily.

Often initiated at 30 mg daily for one week, then increased to 60 mg

Maximum common dosage: 120 mg/day
How to Use:

Swallow the capsule whole, with water, with or without food.

Do not crush or open—it’s delayed-release.
Common Side Effects:

Nausea, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, sweating

Possible increase in blood pressure—monitor as directed.

Taper doses gradually to avoid withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, anxiety, or insomnia
