Cymbalta 60 mg – 28 Capsules (Duloxetine 60 mg)

What It Is:

Cymbalta (duloxetine) is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) that boosts serotonin and norepinephrine levels in the brain to improve mood and alleviate chronic pain.

Uses:

• Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

• Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

• Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

• Fibromyalgia

• Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain (e.g., back/knee osteoarthritis)

• Off-label use: Stress Urinary Incontinence in adults

Dosing:

• Standard adult dose: 60 mg once daily.

• Often initiated at 30 mg daily for one week, then increased to 60 mg

• Maximum common dosage: 120 mg/day

How to Use:

• Swallow the capsule whole, with water, with or without food.

• Do not crush or open—it’s delayed-release.

Common Side Effects:

• Nausea, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, sweating

• Possible increase in blood pressure—monitor as directed.

• Taper doses gradually to avoid withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, anxiety, or insomnia
